A C T S
«Chapters 13-14» In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.

In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.

When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted, “The gods have come down to us in human form!” Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the chief speaker. The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates because he and the crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to them.
But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: “Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them. In the past, he let all nations go their own way. Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them.

Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.

The madness of crowds - one minute they want to idolize you, the next - they'll stone you. Just can't trust 'em!
I liked #18 & 19 - they are mirror images! "Handedness", or chirality, is/was the most difficult aspect of organic chemistry for me. I just couldn't "see" it - while for others, it came naturally. It is also known (in literature) as "chiastic" structure, where the 1st chapter is echoed in the last, then 2nd chapter mirrored in 2nd-to-last, etc.
I was at a seminar (many years ago), where the speaker presented a case for Revelation being written with chiastic structure.
Also interesting in these works is the common 'tearing-of-garments'.

Hugh Ross has pointed out that homochirality is essential to the building blocks of life, which is one of the factors that makes spontaneous natural assembly of life—as opposed to supernatural—all but impossible.

HA! No I didn't see that!
...and I've often thought that chirality itself is God's fingerprint on life-creation. On matter-creation, I see His fingerprint as the Orion nebula :)

Hugh Ross also points out a fascinating fulfilled prophecy that God made about Orion in
Job, c.4,000 years ago:
“Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades? Can you loosen Orion’s belt?"
It is a claim that both the Pleiades cluster and the three stars which comprise the belt of Orion the Hunter are, in fact, as they appear to be: gravitationally bound to one another. It is a truth-claim that could not be tested until 20th Century telescopes proved its veracity.
